There are many voices here and further afield writing and sharing important analyses of race, racism, and racial violence in all its forms. We would urge you to spend some time thinking about the systems we live in/with and support — and the ways in which these systems have done, and continue to do, harm to non-white bodies, lives, and communities.
We all have a role to play in changing policies, beliefs, and behaviours — but particularly those of us who have benefitted from, and continue to benefit from, white privilege. We must start this work now. Here are just a few of many places to begin:
